Palm Kernel Expeller

Palm Kernel Expeller (PKE) is a spin-off of palm oil extraction and is a completely safe food source for most classes of livestock. Palm Kernel Expeller is an essential by-product contributing handsomely to palm oil production.

Indonesia and Malaysia collectively produced over 7 million metric tons of PKE; accounting for over 85 percent of global production and 90 percent of this was exported.

New Zealand, the Netherlands, Indonesia, Japan, India, China, Pakistan, Spain, United States, Bangladesh, Italy, Russia, Egypt and South Korea were the main consuming countries of PKE.

It takes nearly four years for oil palms to produce fruits suitable for harvest and each tree would produce fruits for up to 30 years.
