Fiber
Coconut fiber is a naturally occurring fiber obtained from the husk of coconut. Two types of fiber are extracted from coconut husk at different phases of coconut; brown fiber and white fiber. The United States and Japan collectively lay claims to over 80 percent of the worldwide coconut fiber consumption. The top two coconut fiber producing countries are India and Sri Lanka. Countries like the Philippines, Vietnam Sri Lanka and Indonesia contribute to global coconut fiber production.
